cosprings.info pulls meeting data directly from Colorado Springs Legistar — the city’s official legislative information system. Every meeting fact was verified against Legistar. News items link to the original article and are attributed to their publisher. Council member information comes from city records and public biographical sources. We do not use anonymous sources or unverifiable claims.

How to read the landscape

Colorado Springs’ media ecosystem skews conservative-to-moderate, reflecting the city’s politics. The Gazette is the dominant outlet and the one most councilmembers read. The Indy provides a counterbalance. TV stations (KRDO, KOAA) are broadest-reach but have shallower policy coverage. For city government, start with Legistar (raw data), read the Gazette (detailed reporting), check the Indy (alternative perspective).
